While making this film, I was interested in exploring what happens when a person loses their freedom and becomes trapped within a system they can no longer control.
I am drawn to characters who live on the margins of society and carry the weight of past decisions. Through them, I try to show how guilt, loyalty, and the desire for redemption can coexist.
Visually, I sought an intimate and physical staging, with long takes that allow the audience to remain inside the tension of each moment.
For me, cinema is a way to confront viewers with uncomfortable, yet deeply human realities.
